It's Youth Day this Sunday, July 9th at Truro Raceway. $2.00 burgers and dogs for anyone under 25-years-old and lots of prizes to be given away, including an $800 PlayStation 5 (God of War - Ragnarök Edition) to one lucky fan.
There will be ballots at the program booth to fill out, and the draws will be beginning after race 4.
How the PlayStation will be won is very interesting.....
There will be 8 names drawn from the ballot box, and each of those people will randomly be given an envelope with the name of a horse that is racing in Race 8 in it. Whoever has the winning horse's name in their envelope for race 8 will win the PlayStation! There will also be prizes for 2nd and 3rd place in that race.
There will also be random draws after race 4 for prizes throughout the races.
A huge thank you to Rachael MacDonald and the Danny Romo stable for sponsoring the PlayStation prize and to Randy MacIntosh, who finished 3rd in our Hockey Pool Challenge and donated $100 in Tim's Cards back to the track to be used this week!
