“We’re pleased to be able to honour a racetrack that meant a great deal to people in our region and across the Maritimes. There is no doubt that people have fond recollections of the former Sackville Downs and miss its presence in the HRM (Halifax Regional Municipality) region. We’re looking forward to remembering the many good times and people of that time.” said Truro Raceway General Manager Steve Fitzsimmons.
