On our Nova Scotia vs. Ontario Driver's Challenge, we had a fundraiser for Kidsport Nova Scotia, with a charity BBQ, 50/50 and a donation from the Truro Harness Horse Owners Association.
Combined $1500 was raised. Presenting the cheque is Truro Raceway General Manager Steve Fitzsimmons (left) and THHOA Secretary/Treasurer Rosanne Langille (far right) to Kaitlyn Wesley (middle) representing Kidsport from the County of Colchester.
A special thanks to Ronnie and Michelle Roode, our food vendors, who donated a significant portion of food for the charity BBQ and ran it on our behalf.
